Aluminum PCB
An Aluminum PCB, also known as an Aluminum-Based Printed Circuit Board or simply an Aluminum-Clad PCB, is a type of printed circuit board that utilizes an aluminum base or core, rather than the conventional glass fiber-reinforced epoxy laminate. The aluminum acts as a heatsink, effectively dissipating heat generated by components mounted on the board, thereby providing improved thermal management.
Aluminum PCBs are extensively used in industries such as automotive, industrial automation, LED lighting, power supplies, and telecommunications, where stringent requirements exist for efficient heat dissipation and high durability.
